this corset was comfortable, the underwire was stabbing not bothering me its most comfortable i wear. I order size lx im size 30 inches its just right but my bus is bit smaller , the corset can be adyustable by the sting at the back back since im size 30 inches and i order size lx I did not really need it for adjusting and shaping but if i order large it may be tight but it could be adjusted at the back if i want to shape and thighten more my waist ,but im good on Lx well comfortable.this stich well and made with a good high quality made of satin and strong plastic boning.the sizing is just advertised available in size you want to .It is true to size. the Designed to lift and support the bust, draws in the waist and flattens the tummy,This bustier offers maximum cleavage for a sexy look.
overall this is nice corset it gave me very good support ,so far so great. i don’t have any complain ill keep using this for special events or occasion. the price for this quality is very reasonable. you get what you paid .its very affordable and sturdy .I haven’t had an issue with it at all.Can’t go wrong. I have probably a half dozen corsets. I am completely addicted to them. I do not wear them all the time but I like to dress up on occasion and wear them. Since I had my daughter, it has been hard for me to find pretty corsets that fit correctly. I was a little hesitant about this one since the last few corsets I ordered were too small even though they came in extra large sizes. I am happy to say that this one actually fit me!
The corset is flat black with a shiny brocade pattern, sweetheart shaped top and is pre-laced. It has small ribbon pieces on both sides of the top, on the inside, so it can be hung up. It has an extremely long ribbon for lacing that comes tied in a bow to allow it to be adjusted without having to untangle the ribbon first. The corset has an extra fabric panel that sits behind where the lacing is to cover your back. The boning is very sturdy. The front has a weird closure type, called busk, that is a tiny metal rod that you hook the other piece over and it almost locks into place. Both sides of the closure have a very rigid piece of plastic under them to keep the front of the corset straight.
I adjusted the corset to where it needed to be to fit me. I ended up leaving the loose ends of the ribbon, which are in the middle of the back, and used them as handles to tighten the corset myself. It was MUCH easier than using the very ends of the ribbons since I was able to get a better grip and did not have to risk it unlacing if it came untied or I dropped hold of it. I have never had a corset with a panel piece in the back or the traditional busk closure, leading me to believe this is higher quality than the other corsets I own. The others all have hook and eye closure. This corset gives very nice lift, holds well and gives me a beautiful shape. The 3XL covers what it should for a D cup and would probably fit a size larger or so.
The only issue I have with this gorgeous corset, which may just be because I am a little hefty and not used to busk closure, is that it is hard to close. Since the closure pieces have stiff boning under them, they do not bend well. I have to hook at least the top three rods at the same time or it bends weirdly. The hook pieces get caught under the other side of the fabric or catch on the side of the rods.
Overall this corset is beautiful, seems to be high quality and sturdy. The stitching is holding up extremely well even though I have been tightening the corset like crazy.
